35 tonnes of feed distributed by animal protection associations
About 35 tonnes of feed were distributed by 25 animal protection organizations across the country, in the last two weeks, under the Animal Solidarity Platform, launched by Animalife in late March.
“The Animal Solidarity Platform, launched by Animalife at the end of March, has already made it possible to deliver around 35 tons of feed to over six thousand animals at risk, hosted by associations across the country”, says a statement released on 22 April.
In March, Animalife launched a solidarity platform to respond to the difficulties of animal protection organizations, which have suffered revenue shortages due to the covid-19 pandemic.
According to the association, 56 food and sand pallets were distributed by organizations that have difficulty feeding the animals they host.
Preparing a new round of deliveries, the animal welfare organization is moving forward even though it continues to receive requests for help.
